Delurk Much?

I have a bit of writers block since I’ve been confined to my bed due to the lovely side effects of my new chiropractor (apparently you can have flu- like symptoms after having chiropractic work done while your body, muscles and nerves adjust).

I’ve decided to make today’s post a delurking one. Delurking means to come out from behind the computer screen and leave a message.

Reach out and “Touch Someone”- in a proper way of course.

If you have commented before, comment again!

If you never have -go ahead and leave a comment!

I would love to get to know some of you (since you all know a lot about me!)

Tell me something about yourself.

For example: I HATE ANYTHING orange flavored but LOVE oranges.

 I know, crazy.

For every comment I will donate $1.00 to the March of Dimes ( BABIES!!)

*You know, unless I get a million relpies… bec then I would be broke yo*

I think my mother has finally found my blog. We have a very tenuous “relationship” anyway …. but I can just sense she knows about it.

She’ll never ask me about it.
    And I’ll never tell her.

I wonder if she wonders why I don’t write about her.

LOL, I hate strawberry flavoured things but love strawberries! I hate melons and so does my twin sister ( we’re not identical). I hate licorice. Other than that I love most things, especially olives, lemons, salami, garlic and oysters. Nom Nom.

I have my blog (arcane matters) and started a secret one with password protected posts. However, I have started a THIRD blog. Anonymously. No one knows it is me and I am using it to vent about a very specific issue of mine that I am trying to overcome.

All right, I am de-lurking … anything for the little ones!
I am a regular reader, not commentator, mama to an adorable little girl. My husband is an American living abroad (in my homecountry that is). We live in Belgium. I – rather privately -blog just to keep my in-laws updated. I am considering a second child but have not yet discussed it with my husband … don’t think he’ll object, but once you mention it out loud, it will just be so very … oh … out there (if that makes ANY sense?!). Don’t know if I’ll be able to combine a fulltime job, house, husband, etc … with another baby.

I have commented once before (on your House Hunters, move to Atlanta post) but I’ll comment again. I have 3 kids, a dog, and a husband who has been out of state for the last 10 months due to a job change. I’ve been told by friends tht I should start a blog detailing all the craziness that is our life now, so I’m hoping to do that this weekend.

And, I love pineapple on my pizza, which some people think is weird, but I think is awesome.

Well I’ve commented here and there. 🙂

Let’s see. Sometimes I hate staying at home all day with my kids. Sometimes I miss talking with adults. And I’m highly jealous of people who can go on a vacation without their kids. I haven’t had more than one night alone with my husband in almost 7 years. It can put a strain on a marriage.

Delurking for a good cause! I’m a photographer from New Mexico… never left a comment but have been following your blog for about a year. Your writing is very honest! Thumbs up for your donation despite the crazy economy. I hope we all take a leaf out of your book
There is a restaurant “Neve’s” in my city in close proximity to a tanning salon “Soleil”. Every time I pass this corner your girls pop into my head despite the fact that we have never met.

Sorry you’re still dealing with the back issues. Crazy about the flu-like symptoms! I’ve never heard of that after visiting the chiropractor.

    Get well soon:)

I’m the mother of a beautiful almost 5 year old. She was adopted from China three years ago tomorrow! We are working on paperwork to adopt kid #2 in the next 18-24 short months.I work part-time and also spend a few hours a week volunteering for the charity Love Without Boundaries.
I hate anything grape-flavored, love pineapple on my gluten free pizza and would fall over dead if they stopped making French Vanilla Coffeemate.

Totally not a lurker. Hi! Money for babies!

Random thing about me: I’ve visited and/or driven through over 40 of the 50 U.S. states (I think I’m at 44, but I’d need to double-check that). My plan is to hit all 50 someday.

Delurking from Maryland! I’ve been reading your blog for a while but have never left a comment (found you through Heather). Love your honesty and stories about your girls. I’m a working mom and love my 2 little boys, oh, and my husband too 🙂

I hate tomatoes but love tomato sauce, not a fan of blueberries but love blue berry muffins ( i could go on and on but won’t bore you with my weird food issues….)

Stalking (I mean delurking) from Northwest Indiana. Which is just outside Chicago, but still in Indiana. Which means we are on Chicago’s time zone, which is different than the rest of Indiana. Which is annoying.
But that’s not my fun fact…
I’m 11 weeks pregnant today with my 2nd child, and haven’t told my boss yet. And I also haven’t told her that I have no intention of staying until my due date, much less come back after the baby is born. And I really, really want to blog about it, but can’t until I tell her.
Love your blog, love your honesty.

Lurker here! Will delurk for a good cause, and it’s about time since I’ve been following your blog for a couple of years.

No kids, but I definitely connect with your mom issues and wanting to be a different mother than she was to me.

I’m deathly afraid of flying but yet I’ve lived in California (back home there now), Chicago, Boston and Switzerland – all of which included LOTS of flying.

I have a lot of experience living away from home, if you ever want advice let me know!

I’ve started delurking but I’ll tell you a few things about me.
I work for a family owned business that makes a beef diet for all the carnivore animals in the zoos.
I work on-call part time for the local mental health center providing evaluations on people who are suicidal or a threat to themselves or others.
I recently started blogging. No one in my family but my husband knows about it. My husband has never read it though.
    Go babies!

I’m not a lurker (on your site), but I will comment anyways!

I am Jewish and have never had tuna fish salad. I have also never seen E.T. My childhood was obviously very weird. 🙂

Ok, another de-lurking comment from me. My twin sister and I celebrated out birthday on the 26th May until, when we were 12, my mother had to take out our birth certs for our Confirmation. Lo and Behold! we were born on the 28th May!! It took me years to get used to it being on the 28th. I think I was about 25 before it really sunk in.

Delurking! Found you through Sticky Feet and have been following you for about the last year. My husband had the same issues following a chiropractic visit a few months ago, you are not alone :). And something random about me? I am one of those odd people who associates colors with numbers. The number seven is yellow :).

I love the scent of coffee beans, but I can’t stand the taste of coffee. I keep waiting for someone to come up with a coffee bean scented candle, but so far I haven’t been able to find one.

I also keep all of my paper money in order by denomination and serial number. Yes, serial number…I’m a little OCD.

I have an intense phobia of vomit. I know most people don’t exactly enjoy it, but when my daughter threw up a couple of weeks ago for the first time, I was shaking from anxiety and couldn’t sleep the whole night after. I still have some residual fear that it will happen again (which I know that it will… someday… I just have to come to terms with that…)
